Samsung Galaxy S7 is a lot better than the Moto E5, getting a general score of 79.5 against 66. Even though Samsung Galaxy S7 is much older than Moto E5, it's body is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner. Galaxy S7 counts with a much more vibrant display than Motorola Moto E5, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way higher display pixel density and a much better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
The Galaxy S7 features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto E5, because it has 32 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 200 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S7 counts with just a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto E5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S7 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Moto E5 has longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S7, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh. Galaxy S7 captures much better videos and photos than Motorola Moto E5, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a much better resolution camera in the back, a way bigger back camera sensor capturing way better quality photos and videos and a larger aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light environments.
Samsung Galaxy S7 costs a bit more money than the Moto E5, but you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
