The Samsung Galaxy A5 is slightly better than the Motorola Moto E6 Play, getting a 72.4 score against 66.2. These phones include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A5 has the previous 4.4.4 version and Motorola Moto E6 Play has Android 9.0 Pie version. Samsung Galaxy A5's body is a lot thinner and somewhat lighter than Motorola Moto E6 Play, even though it was released 5 years before.

The Galaxy A5 has a bit better processing power than Moto E6 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy A5 also has an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processor. Galaxy A5 has a more vivid screen than Moto E6 Play, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1280 x 720 and a little smaller display, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen.

The Samsung Galaxy A5 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Moto E6 Play. Both of them have a back facing camera with a 13 megapixels resolution. Moto E6 Play has a superior memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB.

The Moto E6 Play has superior battery duration than Galaxy A5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.

Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy A5 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes this phone an obvious call.
