Galaxy S4 has a global score of 77.3, which is much better than Motorola Moto G (2014)'s score of 61.7. Despite of the fact that Galaxy S4 is older than Motorola Moto G (2014), it's design is much thinner and somewhat lighter. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy S4 has older 4.4.2 version while Motorola Moto G (2014) has Android 5.0 version.

Galaxy S4 counts with a bit better CPU than Motorola Moto G (2014), because although it has a slower graphics processor running at 400 MHz, and they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy S4 also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy S4 has a more vivid display than Motorola Moto G (2014), and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy S4 also has more pixels per inch in the display and a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Galaxy S4 shoots clearer photos and videos than Moto G (2014), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos and videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher 13 megapixels resolution and a much better video resolution.

Galaxy S4 has a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Moto G (2014), because it has 24 GB more internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that admits up to 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with superior battery lifetime than Moto G (2014), because it has a 2600mAh battery size.

Even being the best phone in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is also a bit cheaper, which makes this phone a very good choice.
