Motorola Moto G 5G Plus has an overall score of 82.6, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 50's 81.2 score. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus is a much older, thicker and heavier cellphone than the Motorola Edge 50. Motorola Moto G 5G Plus has an extremely better processing unit than Motorola Edge 50, although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.

The Motorola Edge 50 features just a bit bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage.
The Motorola Edge 50 has just a bit better camera than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for taking pictures or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Edge 50 also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with more mega-pixels.
The Motorola Edge 50 has a battery duration that is just as good as the battery performance in Motorola Moto G 5G Plus.
