Comparison review
Galaxy M31s has a general score of 88, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus's overall score of 82.6. Even though the Galaxy M31s and the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus were released with only a few months difference, the Galaxy M31s construction is just a bit lighter but also a little bit thicker.
Moto G 5G Plus and Samsung Galaxy M31s count with very similar displays, although the Samsung Galaxy M31s has a just a little less pixels per inch in the display, a bit smaller display and a bit lower 1080 x 2400 resolution. Samsung Galaxy M31s features a little bit better storage to install applications and games than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds 488 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy M31s features a bit faster processor than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy M31s shoots clearer videos and photos than Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also counts with a back-facing camera with much more megapixels and a larger sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s has improved battery duration than Moto G 5G Plus, because it has a 20% greater battery capacity.
