The Galaxy J5 has an overall score of 66, which is slightly better than Motorola Moto G's general score of 60.3. Galaxy J5 is a newer and way thinner phone than Motorola Moto G, although it is a little heavier. Both of these phones include the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that.

The Motorola Moto G features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy J5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 720px, the Motorola Moto G also counts with a just a little better count of pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy J5 has a superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Moto G, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy J5 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.

Moto G has just a little better processing power than Galaxy J5, because although it has 512 MB less RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processor and a greater number of cores. The Galaxy J5 shoots much better photos and videos than Moto G, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 video resolution and a way better resolution back-facing camera.

Galaxy J5 features longer battery duration than Motorola Moto G, because it has 2600mAh of battery capacity against 2070mAh.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Samsung Galaxy J5 is also cheap compared to the other phone, making it a very good choice.
