The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a global score of 76.4, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G Fast's 72.2 global score. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version and Motorola Moto G Fast has Android 11 version. Despite of the fact that the Xiaomi Mi 5s is extremely older than Motorola Moto G Fast, it's design is thinner and notably lighter.
Motorola Moto G Fast has a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores. The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a lot better display than Moto G Fast, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1080 x 1920 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch of screen.
Moto G Fast features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor which offers a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Moto G Fast also counts with a bigger aperture and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.

Although Xiaomi Mi 5s is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto G Fast, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G Fast. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi 5s, else you can save some money and get the Moto G Fast, letting go a couple specs and features.
