Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi 5s has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Motorola Moto G Power 5G (2024) has Android 14, providing the user some extra features. The Xiaomi Mi 5s design is just a bit thinner and lighter than Motorola Moto G Power 5G (2024), although it was released many years before.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a lot better performance than Moto G Power 5G (2024), although it has lesser cpu cores (but faster) and less RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G Power 5G (2024), because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher amount of pixels in each display inch.
Xiaomi Mi 5s captures slightly better pictures and videos than Moto G Power 5G (2024), although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting photos and video in low light situations and a much worse resolution camera in the back. Xiaomi Mi 5s's memory for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as the Motorola Moto G Power 5G (2024) one, both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Moto G Power 5G (2024) features a much better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 3200mAh.
