Comparison review

Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto G Power's general score of 76.1. The Xperia 5 is a somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter phone than Motorola Moto G Power, although both of them were released with only 7 months difference. The Xperia 5 features a slightly better display than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a just a little more pixels per screen inch.

The Xperia 5 features a very superior memory for games and applications than Moto G Power, and although they both have a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Xperia 5 also has 128 GB internal memory. Sony Xperia 5 counts with a bit better processor than Motorola Moto G Power, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

The Motorola Moto G Power takes slightly better photos and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera sensor which gives a worse image and video quality and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photos and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola Moto G Power also counts with a much better 16 megapixels resolution camera in the back.

Moto G Power features a really longer battery performance than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.

Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G Power. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia 5, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Moto G Power, giving up a couple specifications.
