Comparison review

The Xperia 1 has an overall score of 82.6, which is a little bit better than Moto G Stylus's score of 79.7. Even though the Xperia 1 is older than Moto G Stylus, it's design is just a little lighter and thinner. Xperia 1 features a more vivid screen than Moto G Stylus, because it has a way higher pixel count per screen inch, a little larger display and a way better 1644 x 3840 resolution.

The Sony Xperia 1 features a bit better processing unit than Motorola Moto G Stylus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with as much storage to install games and applications as Moto G Stylus, they have an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and equal internal storage.

The Moto G Stylus takes better videos and photos than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same video definition, the Moto G Stylus also counts with a back facing camera with a much better 48 MP resolution, a lot larger sensor providing a way higher image quality and better 30 fps video frame rates.

The Motorola Moto G Stylus features longer battery life than Xperia 1, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G Stylus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G Stylus. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Moto G Stylus, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
