Comparison review

Sony Xperia 5 II has an overall score of 87.2, which is just a bit better than the Moto G Stylus's global score of 79.7. Even though Sony Xperia 5 II and Moto G Stylus were released with only a couple months difference, Sony Xperia 5 II is somewhat lighter and thinner. The Xperia 5 II features just a bit better looking screen than Moto G Stylus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a little higher pixel amount in each inch of display.

Sony Xperia 5 II features a slightly bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto G Stylus, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1000 GB. The Sony Xperia 5 II has a little bit better performance than Moto G Stylus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has 4 GB more RAM memory.

Moto G Stylus takes just a bit better videos and photos than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and pictures and worse video frame rate, and they both have a F1.7 diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Moto G Stylus also counts with a back camera with a much higher resolution.

Sony Xperia 5 II and Motorola Moto G Stylus feature quite similar batteries.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G Stylus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G Stylus. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Moto G Stylus, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
