The Xperia 5 has a global score of 81, which is slightly better than Moto G30's 78.1 general score. Xperia 5's design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Moto G30, even though it was released only 17 months before. Sony Xperia 5 features a little bit better processing power than Moto G30, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

Sony Xperia 5 features a much better looking screen than Motorola Moto G30, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way better pixels amount per inch in the display and a way better 1080 x 2520 resolution. The Moto G30 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video resolution, the Moto G30 also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rate and a much higher 64 megapixels resolution camera.

The Xperia 5's storage for apps and games is very similar to the Motorola Moto G30 one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. Motorola Moto G30 features a way better battery lifetime than Xperia 5, because it has a 59 percent larger battery size.
