The Xperia XZ2 is a bit better than Moto G31, having a score of 79.1 against 77. Although it's the best phone in this review, Xperia XZ2 is a way older, notably thicker and a bit heavier phone than Moto G31. Xperia XZ2 has a little bit better display than Motorola Moto G31, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2160 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher count of pixels in each inch of screen.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 features a bit better processing unit than Moto G31. Both have 4 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores. The Xperia XZ2 has just a bit better camera than Motorola Moto G31, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light photography and videos and a camera with a way lower 19 MP resolution, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video definition.
The Motorola Moto G31 features a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Motorola Moto G31 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Moto G31 has a superior battery duration than Xperia XZ2, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3180mAh.
