Sony Xperia 5 is much better than the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, with an 81 score against 72.1. The Sony Xperia 5 features a bit better looking display than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because it has a little bit larger display, a little better pixels number per screen inch and a quite better 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution.

The Xperia 5 has a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Moto G4 Plus, because it has 64 GB more internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Xperia 5 has a quite better processing power than Moto G4 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 5 also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Xperia 5 features a little better battery life than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because it has 3140mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. The Sony Xperia 5 takes a little bit better photos and videos than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a much lower 12 mega-pixels resolution camera, it also counts with a lot higher video definition and a bigger aperture for better photos and videos in low-light environments.

Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto G4 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G4 Plus. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Moto G4 Plus, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
