Asus ZenFone AR has a global score of 77.4, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus's 74.6 general score. Even though the Asus ZenFone AR and the Motorola Moto G5 Plus were released only a couple months apart, Asus ZenFone AR's design is a little thinner but also a bit heavier than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus.

Asus ZenFone AR counts with a bit sharper display than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a bit better pixels density, a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a little bigger display. The Asus ZenFone AR counts with much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Moto G5 Plus, because it has 64 GB more internal storage and a SD card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.

Moto G5 Plus features a bit better CPU than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores (although they are slower). The Asus ZenFone AR counts with a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because although it has slower video frame rates, a tinier back camera sensor which gives a lower photo and video quality and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better 23 mega pixels resolution.

Asus ZenFone AR counts with a little longer battery performance than Moto G5 Plus, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
