Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a general score of 79.3, which is a bit better than Motorola Moto G5 Plus's 74.6 general score. Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is older than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus, it's construction is a little bit lighter and extremely thinner. The Moto G5 Plus has a little faster CPU than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Moto G5 Plus also has more processing cores (although they are slower).
Galaxy S6 edge+ has a more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because it has a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440, a little bit bigger display and a little more pixels per inch in the screen. The Moto G5 Plus has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Moto G5 Plus also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
Galaxy S6 edge+ takes a bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture and a smaller back camera sensor taking lower quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a back camera with a lot higher resolution.
The Galaxy S6 edge+'s battery duration is just as good as the Moto G5 Plus one.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it is way more expensive than Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G5 Plus. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Moto G5 Plus, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
