The Samsung Galaxy M31 is much better than Motorola Moto G50, getting a general score of 86.5 against 75.3. The Samsung Galaxy M31 is a a little bit lighter phone than the Motorola Moto G50, but both have the same thickness. These phones work with the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't see any differences regarding operating system features.
