Galaxy Note9 has an overall score of 87.1, which is better than Moto G5S Plus's score of 74.8. The Galaxy Note9 body is newer and just a little thinner than the Moto G5S Plus's, but it is also somewhat heavier. The Galaxy Note9 counts with a little bit better screen than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, because it has a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960px, a better display density and a bigger screen.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with much more storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, because it has a SD memory slot that supports up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a little better hardware performance than Moto G5S Plus, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Galaxy Note9 counts with longer battery lifetime than Moto G5S Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. Galaxy Note9 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Moto G5S Plus, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a camera with a worse 12 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a much bigger camera aperture.
Although Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto G5S Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G5S Plus. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Moto G5S Plus, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
