Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than Moto G6 Plus, having a overall score of 82.1 against 77.5. Even though the Galaxy A8 Star and the Moto G6 Plus were released only 4 months apart, the Galaxy A8 Star construction is just a little bit thinner but somewhat heavier than the Moto G6 Plus. The Motorola Moto G6 Plus counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2160, it also counts with a little bit better pixels amount per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a greater memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has an external memory slot that holds up to 400 GB.
