Comparison review

The Xperia XZ1 has a global score of 78.3, which is just a bit better than Motorola Moto G6's 72.1 global score. Even though the Xperia XZ1 and the Motorola Moto G6 were released with only 7 months difference, the Xperia XZ1 is thinner and a little lighter. The Xperia XZ1 has a bit more powerful processor than Motorola Moto G6, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ1 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

The Xperia XZ1 counts with a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto G6, although it has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little smaller screen, they both have a better quantity of pixels per inch in the display. Xperia XZ1 takes clearer pictures and videos than Moto G6, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a camera with a much better 19 megapixels resolution and a bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.

Xperia XZ1 features a much better memory for games and applications than Moto G6, because it has more internal storage and a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Moto G6 counts with a bit longer battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has an 11% bigger battery size.

Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola Moto G6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto G6. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ1, otherwise you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto G6, letting go some features and specifications.
