Comparison review

Galaxy S4 has an overall score of 77.3, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G7 Play's 70.9 general score. Galaxy S4's body is way lighter and a little thinner than the Motorola Moto G7 Play, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Galaxy S4 has the previous 4.4.2 version and Motorola Moto G7 Play has Android 9.0 Pie.

Galaxy S4 counts with a much better looking display than Moto G7 Play, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1920 x 1080 resolution and a better number of pixels per inch of screen. The Moto G7 Play counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy S4, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Moto G7 Play also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

Galaxy S4 features a bit better processing power than Moto G7 Play, because although it has a lower number of cores , and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy S4 also counts with a graphics processor. Motorola Moto G7 Play shoots a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S4, and although they both have a 13 megapixels back camera and a 0.33 inches sensor, the Motorola Moto G7 Play also has a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a bigger aperture to capture better low light photography.

The Motorola Moto G7 Play has a little longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy S4 costs a bit more money than Moto G7 Play, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
