Comparison review

Huawei P20 has a general score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than Moto G7 Power's global score of 72.6. Both phones we compare here work with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that. Huawei P20's body is lighter and somewhat thinner than Moto G7 Power, although it was released about 10 months before.

Huawei P20 counts with a sharper screen than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1080 x 2244px resolution and a lot greater pixel amount per display inch. The Huawei P20 has just a bit more memory capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.

Huawei P20 has a little better performance than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P20 also has 1 GB more RAM. The Moto G7 Power features a really longer battery performance than Huawei P20, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3400mAh. The Huawei P20 has just a bit better camera than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same (4K) video quality and the same resolution camera in the back, the Huawei P20 also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better low-light captures and video and a way bigger sensor shooting much higher quality photos and videos.

Although Huawei P20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G7 Power. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Motorola Moto G7 Power, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
