Comparison review

The Sony Xperia XZ3 is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G7 Power, getting a general score of 79.6 against 72.6. Both of these devices have the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System), so they should give you the same operating system features. Although the Sony Xperia XZ3 and Motorola Moto G7 Power were only released 4 months apart, the Sony Xperia XZ3 construction is a little thicker but also just a little bit lighter.

The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a bit better hardware performance than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Xperia XZ3 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Moto G7 Power, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixels count per inch in the screen and a much better resolution of 1440 x 2880px.

Xperia XZ3 captures much better pictures and videos than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia XZ3 also has a much larger sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality and a back facing camera with a way better 19 MP resolution.

Xperia XZ3 features more storage for applications and games than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Xperia XZ3 also has more internal storage capacity. Moto G7 Power has a much better battery life than Xperia XZ3, because it has a 50% larger battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G7 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G7 Power. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Moto G7 Power, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
