Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s is a bit better than the Moto G7 Power, getting a 76.4 score against 72.6. Although the Xiaomi Mi 5s is a lot older than Moto G7 Power, it's body is extremely lighter and somewhat thinner. Both devices we are comparing here have Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi 5s has the previous 6.0 Marshmallow version while Moto G7 Power has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Xiaomi Mi 5s features a much better looking screen than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and much more pixels per inch in the display. Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a bit faster processor than Moto G7 Power, because although it has lesser processing cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have a 12 mega-pixels camera, a F2 camera aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also has a much larger back-facing camera sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with slightly more memory for games and applications than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. Moto G7 Power counts with a very superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi 5s is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola Moto G7 Power. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Motorola Moto G7 Power, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
