Comparison review
The Galaxy M31 has a global score of 86.5, which is much better than Moto G7's overall score of 75.2. Galaxy M31 is a newer phone than Moto G7, although it's somewhat thicker and a little heavier. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M31 has 11 version while Moto G7 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Galaxy M31 features a bit more vivid screen than Moto G7, because although it has a bit inferior amount of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a quite bigger screen. The Motorola Moto G7 and the Galaxy M31 both have extremely similar storage capacity to install games and applications, both have the same internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 features just a little better hardware performance than Moto G7, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a really longer battery lifetime than Motorola Moto G7, because it has a 100 percent larger battery capacity.
Galaxy M31 counts with a very superior camera than Motorola Moto G7, and although they both have the same video definition, a same size aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy M31 also has a camera with way more MP.
