Motorola Edge 50 is slightly better than the Moto G8 Power, having an 81.2 score against 76. Motorola Edge 50 is a newer device, and it's also somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter than Moto G8 Power. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Edge 50 has newer 14 version while Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features.

Moto G8 Power features an extremely better processing unit than Motorola Edge 50, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a much better display than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because it has a little bit bigger display, a bit greater pixel amount in each inch in the display and a slightly higher resolution of 1220 x 2712px.

Motorola Edge 50 has a quite bigger storage for apps and games than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory. Motorola Edge 50's battery duration is very similar to the battery performance in Motorola Moto G8 Power.

The Motorola Edge 50 has a better camera than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Motorola Edge 50 also counts with a lot higher resolution back camera and a way bigger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality.
