The Galaxy A12 is just a bit better than Moto G8 Power, getting a general score of 80.3 against 76. Both of these phones work with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so both of them should provide you the same OS features. Even though the Galaxy A12 and Moto G8 Power were only released with a few months difference, the Galaxy A12 design is a little bit heavier but just a bit thinner than Moto G8 Power.

The Galaxy A12 has just a bit better performance than Motorola Moto G8 Power. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel amount in each inch of display and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2300 pixels.

The Galaxy A12 has just a bit better camera than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low light photography and videos, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy A12 also counts with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution camera.

The Galaxy A12 features a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A12 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy A12 has a battery life that is very similar to the battery lifetime in Motorola Moto G8 Power.
