Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 5 is a bit better than Moto G8 Power, having a general score of 81 against 76. The Sony Xperia 5 is a thinner and lighter device than Moto G8 Power, although they were released with only a couple months difference. Xperia 5 features a bit superior processing unit than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 5 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

The Xperia 5 features a little bit better looking screen than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and a just a little higher count of pixels per display inch. Moto G8 Power takes just a bit better photos and videos than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing less light and duller colors and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video definition, the Moto G8 Power also counts with a much higher resolution camera in the back.

Sony Xperia 5 counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Sony Xperia 5 also has more internal storage capacity. Motorola Moto G8 Power has a superior battery duration than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 59% bigger battery size.

Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto G8 Power. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xperia 5, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G8 Power, resigning a couple specifications.
