The Google Pixel XL has an overall score of 81.3, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G8's 74.4 general score. Even though Google Pixel XL is older than Motorola Moto G8, it's body is lighter and a little thinner. Motorola Moto G8 counts with a bit better processing power than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Motorola Moto G8 also has a larger number of cores (but slower).

Google Pixel XL counts with a better looking display than Moto G8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much better screen pixels density and a much better 1440 x 2560 resolution. Moto G8 features a quite bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel XL, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB.

Google Pixel XL's camera is very similar to the camera in Moto G8, although the Google Pixel XL has a worse 3840x2160 video resolution, a camera in the back with way less mega-pixels and a tinier aperture. The Motorola Moto G8 has a bit superior battery performance than Google Pixel XL, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto G8. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Motorola Moto G8, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
