The Galaxy M30s is much better than the Moto G8, with an 83.3 score against 74.4. Galaxy M30s is a just a little lighter cellphone than Moto G8, but they are equally thin. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS, but Galaxy M30s has newer 11 version while Moto G8 has Android 10, giving you some nice extra features and improved performance.
Samsung Galaxy M30s has a bit more powerful processing unit than Moto G8. They have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. Samsung Galaxy M30s features a sharper display than Moto G8, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy M30s also has a way higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a much higher number of pixels per display inch.
The Motorola Moto G8 and the Galaxy M30s both have very similar storage to install applications and games, both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy M30s captures much clearer photographs and videos than Moto G8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy M30s also counts with a back camera with much more mega pixels.
The Galaxy M30s has a much better battery life than Moto G8, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
