Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has an overall score of 79.3, which is slightly better than the Moto G8's overall score of 74.4. These phones work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has 5.1 version and Moto G8 has Android 10. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ body is lighter and thinner than Moto G8, although it was released many years before.

The Galaxy S6 edge+ features a way better display than Moto G8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher amount of pixels per inch of screen and a lot higher resolution of 2560 x 1440. Motorola Moto G8 counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto G8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB.

Motorola Moto G8 counts with just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Motorola Moto G8 also has a greater number of cores. The Moto G8 has better battery life than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 33% greater battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Motorola Moto G8, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light captures, they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same resolution back facing camera.

Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S6 edge+, else you can save some money and buy the Moto G8, giving up a couple specifications.
