Moto G84 has a global score of 80.9, which is a bit better than Galaxy A12's 80.3 global score. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Moto G84 has a newer 13 version while Galaxy A12 has Android 10, giving a lot of extra features and performance optimizations. The Moto G84 is a way newer phone, and it's also much lighter and thinner than the Galaxy A12.

Samsung Galaxy A12 has a much greater hardware performance than Moto G84, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. Motorola Moto G84 counts with a lot better screen than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Motorola Moto G84 also has a much better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a greater count of pixels per inch in the screen.

Moto G84 features just a bit more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A12, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy A12's battery life is very similar to the battery lifetime in Moto G84. Moto G84 captures better photos and videos than Galaxy A12, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Moto G84 also has a larger camera aperture, higher 60 fps video frame rates and a more megapixels camera.
