The Huawei P20 is slightly better than the Moto G9 Play, getting a 78.1 score against 76.7. Huawei P20 is an older cellphone than Moto G9 Play, but Huawei managed to make it thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. The Huawei P20 features a bit faster processor than Moto G9 Play. They have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. Huawei P20 features a more vivid display than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher 1080 x 2244px resolution and a way greater pixels density.
The Moto G9 Play captures much clearer photos and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Moto G9 Play also has a way larger sensor capturing lot better quality pictures, a larger camera aperture for better photos in low-light situations, a back facing camera with a lot better resolution and higher 60 frames per second video frame rates.
Moto G9 Play features a quite bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P20, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. Moto G9 Play counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Huawei P20, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
