Sony Xperia XZ3 is just a bit better than the Moto G9 Play, having a 79.6 score against 76.7. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia XZ3 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Moto G9 Play has Android 10. Sony Xperia XZ3 is an older and just a bit thicker phone than the Moto G9 Play, but Sony could make it a bit lighter anyway.
The Xperia XZ3 features a much sharper screen than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much greater pixels density and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2880. The Xperia XZ3 has a little better processing power than Moto G9 Play. They have the same RAM memory amount and 8 cpu cores.
Sony Xperia XZ3 has as much memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as Motorola Moto G9 Play, they have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB and exactly the same internal storage. Moto G9 Play counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Xperia XZ3, because it has a 50% greater battery size.
The Moto G9 Play has just a bit better camera than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Moto G9 Play also has higher video frame rate, a back camera with much more megapixels, a way larger sensor which offers a way higher image and video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light captures.
