Comparison review
Moto G9 Plus is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, getting a general score of 80.5 against 76.4. Moto G9 Plus's design is notably newer, but much heavier and somewhat thicker than Xiaomi Mi 5s. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the Moto G9 Plus has older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Xiaomi Mi 5s features a bit sharper display than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit higher screen density. The Motorola Moto G9 Plus counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Motorola Moto G9 Plus also has 4 more cpu cores (but slower).
The Motorola Moto G9 Plus counts with much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto G9 Plus also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Motorola Moto G9 Plus has a much better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 3200mAh.
Moto G9 Plus takes way better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Moto G9 Plus also has a much bigger sensor providing a way better image quality, a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures and videos and a camera with way more MP.
