Moto G Stylus is a bit better than Moto X (2014), with a 79.7 score against 73.4. Although Moto G Stylus is way heavier than the Moto X (2014), it's just a bit thinner and also a lot newer. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but Moto G Stylus has a newer 11 version and Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0 version.
Motorola Moto X (2014) counts with a better looking screen than Motorola Moto G Stylus, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080px resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater display density. Motorola Moto G Stylus features a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB and more internal storage.
The Moto X (2014) has just a bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G Stylus, because although it has lesser RAM and less CPU cores , it also counts with a GPU. Moto G Stylus counts with a very superior camera than Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Moto G Stylus also has a lot bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a lot better 48 megapixels resolution back camera and a lot larger camera aperture to take better photos and videos in low-light situations.
The Moto G Stylus counts with a superior battery performance than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
In addition to being the best phone in this comparison, the Motorola Moto G Stylus is also cheaper, which makes it a simple decision.
