Moto Z4 has a general score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than the Moto X (2014)'s general score of 73.4. The Moto Z4 body is noticeably newer and thinner than the Moto X (2014)'s, although it is also somewhat heavier. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Moto Z4 has the newer 10 version while Moto X (2014) has Android 5.0, providing the user some extra features.

The Moto X (2014) counts with a little faster CPU than Moto Z4, because although it has an inferior number of cores and 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Moto X (2014) features a better screen than Moto Z4, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit higher number of pixels per screen inch.

The Motorola Moto Z4 features a way bigger storage for applications and games than Moto X (2014), because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Motorola Moto Z4 counts with a very superior camera than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Moto Z4 also has a much better resolution camera in the back, a way bigger camera aperture and a way bigger back camera sensor.

Moto Z4 has a really longer battery performance than Motorola Moto X (2014), because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity.

The Moto Z4 is a lot more expensive than Motorola Moto X (2014), but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
