The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has an overall score of 81.6, which is much better than Moto X (2014)'s 73.4 global score. Samsung Galaxy Note 4's design is thinner but somewhat heavier than Moto X (2014), and both were released only 0 months apart. Both of these phones use the same Android 5.0 OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect.

The Galaxy Note 4 features a bit sharper display than Moto X (2014), because it has a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, a quite larger screen and a little bit greater pixel amount in each screen inch. Galaxy Note 4 features much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy Note 4 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 128 GB.

The Galaxy Note 4 counts with a bit superior processor than Moto X (2014), and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note 4 also has more RAM and a better graphics processor working at 500 MHz. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a much better battery life than Moto X (2014), because it has 3220mAh of battery capacity against 2300mAh.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a slightly better camera than Motorola Moto X (2014), and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a same size camera aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also has a bigger back camera sensor and a camera with a better resolution.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy Note 4 is also cheaper than the Moto X (2014), which makes it an easy choice.
