Motorola Moto X (2014) Review

Motorola Moto X (2014) is a wonderful cellphone launched many years ago, featuring a pretty big 5.2" touch-screen, a high performance 2500 MHz Quad-Core processor, a 13 MP back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front camera.

This phone is only for sale in color gold. Being just 0.39" thick,this cellphone is incredibly slim and comfortable. The Motorola Moto X (2014) is just 5.54 inches long, but it is able to fit a a 5.2" screen. Motorola did an excellent optimization job making this cellphone weight only 5.08 ounces.

Motorola packed this phone with an astonishing 5.2 inches display, and a 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution, which makes everything look absolutely great. Its display uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

Motorola decided to equip this cellphone with a high-tech 2.5 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 8974-AC chip with a big 2 GB RAM memory. Graphic rendering often eats lots of processing power, so this cellphone uses a 450 megahertz Adreno 330 graphics processing unit to take some work out of the CPU. A great point of this cellphone is the 32 GB big internal storage memory and though it doesn't include a slot for external memory cards, it is still enough to install tons of applications, games, songs, photos and videos without thinking about running out of space.

This phone has wifi connection (which it can share with other devices around, acting as a router or modem), 4G (LTE) high performance internet connection and also HSPA+ data connection, which is a bit slower 4G technology and 3G fast data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device works with a SIM card for GSM networks and it can connect using both GSM and CDMA.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 13 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 MP front camera. Even though it's 13 megapixels may sound great the back-facing camera has a very little 0.326797" sensor it takes less detailed pictures than you would expect. The can also shoot videos up to 3840x2160 (4K) at 30 fps. This phone also counts with a large number of valuable characteristics like auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, fast burst mode, geo tagging and HDR mode.

This cellphone also comes with a few interesting features such as NFC, Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth devices and accessories) and GPS Localization, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
