The Motorola Edge 50 has an overall score of 81.2, which is a little bit better than Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015)'s global score of 74.1. The Motorola Edge 50 is a notably newer and way thinner device than the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015), but it's a little heavier. The Motorola Edge 50 features a much better display than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because although it has a bit lower 1220 x 2712 resolution and a little worse amount of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a larger display.
Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015) features a really superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge 50, although it has a lower number of cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM. Motorola Edge 50 counts with a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
Motorola Edge 50 features a superior battery lifetime than Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. Motorola Edge 50 captures much clearer videos and photos than Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015), and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a camera with a lot better 50 mega pixels resolution, a way larger back camera sensor capturing lot better quality videos and pictures and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photography and video.
