The Moto Z4 is just a bit better than the Moto X Pure Edition (2015), getting a general score of 79.8 against 74.1. Moto Z4's design is way newer, just a bit lighter and thinner than Moto X Pure Edition (2015). Moto Z4 features a little better processing power than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and a higher amount of RAM memory.

Moto X Pure Edition (2015) has a bit better screen than Moto Z4, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a better pixels density. Moto Z4 features a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB.

Moto Z4 counts with a better camera than Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Moto Z4 also has a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos, a lot better resolution back-facing camera and a bigger sensor shooting higher quality pictures.

The Moto Z4 has improved battery performance than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has a 20% bigger battery size.
