Samsung Galaxy A12 has an overall score of 80.3, which is a bit better than the Moto X Pure Edition (2015)'s 74.1 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy A12 construction is a lot newer and notably thinner than the Moto X Pure Edition (2015)'s, although it is also heavier. Galaxy A12 has a little faster processor than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and more RAM memory.

Moto X Pure Edition (2015) features a sharper display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a way greater pixels amount per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy A12 has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.

The Galaxy A12 has a really longer battery lifetime than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 3000mAh. The Moto X Pure Edition (2015) features just a bit better camera than Galaxy A12, because although it has a lot worse resolution camera, and they both have a F2 camera aperture, the Moto X Pure Edition (2015) also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video definition.
