Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31s is better than the Moto X Pure Edition (2015), with an 88 score against 74.1. The Samsung Galaxy M31s construction is much newer and somewhat thinner than the Moto X Pure Edition (2015)'s, but it's heavier. Moto X Pure Edition (2015) has a little more vivid display than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a little better processing power than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. The Galaxy M31s has a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s features a much better camera than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a back-facing camera with a lot better 64 MP resolution, a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light images and video and a much bigger camera sensor which offers a much better image and video quality.
Galaxy M31s counts with a very superior battery life than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has a 100% greater battery capacity.
