Moto Z2 Play is much better than the Motorola Moto X, having a 77.4 score against 68.1. Moto Z2 Play's construction is newer and way thinner, but also somewhat heavier than the Motorola Moto X. The Motorola Moto X has a bit better looking display than Moto Z2 Play, although it has a little bit lower quantity of pixels per display inch, a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution and a bit smaller display.
Moto Z2 Play features a little faster CPU than Moto X, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM and more processing cores. Moto Z2 Play has a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Moto X, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal storage.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play features longer battery duration than Moto X, because it has a 3000mAh battery size instead of 2200mAh. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play features just a bit better camera than Moto X, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution, a better resolution camera and a lot larger camera aperture.
Moto Z2 Play costs a bit more money than the Moto X, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
