Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 5 has a general score of 81, which is slightly better than the Motorola Moto X4's overall score of 74.4. Sony Xperia 5 is a newer phone than the Motorola Moto X4, although it is just a little thicker and just a little heavier. Sony Xperia 5 features a little better processing power than Motorola Moto X4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a greater amount of RAM.

The Xperia 5 features just a bit better looking display than Moto X4, because it has a larger screen, a little better pixel count per display inch and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2520. The Xperia 5 features a better memory capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Moto X4, because although it has an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.

The Moto X4 and the Sony Xperia 5 both count with incredibly similar cameras, because although the Sony Xperia 5 has a smaller back-facing camera sensor taking less light and duller colors, and they both have the same video frame rates, a 12 megapixels back-facing camera and the same video resolution, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to take better captures in low light environments.

The Xperia 5 counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Motorola Moto X4, because it has 3140mAh of battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola Moto X4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto X4. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia 5, else you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto X4, giving up some features and specs.
