Galaxy A12 has a general score of 80.3, which is a bit better than the Moto Z Droid Edition's general score of 75.6. The Galaxy A12 design is a lot newer, but a lot thicker and way heavier than the Moto Z Droid Edition. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A12 has the previous 10 version while Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat version.

The Moto Z Droid Edition features a much better looking screen than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of screen and a way higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition has a quite bigger storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition also has an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.

Galaxy A12 has just a little better processing power than Moto Z Droid Edition, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy A12 also has a higher number of cores. Galaxy A12 has a way better battery lifetime than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 2600mAh.

Galaxy A12 counts with just a bit better camera than Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy A12 also counts with a back facing camera with a way higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
