Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is much better than Moto Z Play Droid, getting an 86.5 score against 71.8. The Samsung Galaxy M31 design is way newer, but heavier and somewhat thicker than Moto Z Play Droid. The Galaxy M31 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Motorola Moto Z Play Droid, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy M31 also has 3 GB more RAM.
The Galaxy M31 counts with a little more vivid display than Moto Z Play Droid, because it has a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution, a larger screen and a quite better display pixels density. The Motorola Moto Z Play Droid features just a bit more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy M31, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Galaxy M31 counts with a lot better camera than Moto Z Play Droid, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy M31 also has a much more mega pixels back camera and a larger diafragm aperture for better photos and video in low light situations.
Samsung Galaxy M31 has a much better battery duration than Moto Z Play Droid, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
