Google Nexus 6 has a score of 81.1, which is just a bit better than Moto Z Play's general score of 74.4. The Google Nexus 6 is a better cellphone than Moto Z Play, we must highlight that it is also an older, noticeably thicker and heavier cellphone. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Google Nexus 6 has older 5.1 version and Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Google Nexus 6 features a better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has a little more pixels per inch of display, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a little bit larger display. The Motorola Moto Z Play features a way bigger memory for games and applications than Google Nexus 6, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB.
The Google Nexus 6 features a bit better processing power than Moto Z Play, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), and they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Google Nexus 6 also counts with an extra graphics processor. Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto Z Play, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto Z Play. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Google Nexus 6, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Motorola Moto Z Play, giving up some specifications.
