Comparison review
The Google Pixel 3a has an overall score of 78.8, which is a bit better than Motorola Moto Z Play's global score of 74.4. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Google Pixel 3a has older 11 version while Motorola Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although the Google Pixel 3a is thicker than the Motorola Moto Z Play, it's somewhat lighter and extremely newer.
The Google Pixel 3a has just a bit better looking display than Moto Z Play, because it has a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen, a little higher 1080 x 2220 resolution and a quite larger screen. Motorola Moto Z Play features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Google Pixel 3a counts with a processing unit that is just as good as Moto Z Play's CPU, and although the Google Pixel 3a has a higher amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Moto Z Play counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 3510mAh battery capacity.
Google Pixel 3a captures clearer videos and photos than Moto Z Play, because although it has a lower video resolution and a lot less mega-pixels back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better captures and video in low light environments.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, Google Pixel 3a is also by far the cheapest one, which makes this phone an obvious call.
