Comparison review
HTC One M9 has a global score of 77.7, which is a bit better than Moto Z Play's score of 74.4. HTC One M9 is an older and much thicker device than the Moto Z Play, but HTC was able to make it a little bit lighter anyway. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the HTC One M9 has 5.0 version while Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The HTC One M9 has a brighter display than Motorola Moto Z Play, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the HTC One M9 also counts with a little higher pixels density. The Moto Z Play features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than HTC One M9, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the Moto Z Play also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.
HTC One M9 features just a little better hardware performance than Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same number of cores and 3 GB of RAM, the HTC One M9 also has a graphics processor and a 64-bits processing unit. The Moto Z Play has superior battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has 3510mAh of battery capacity.
HTC One M9 has a little bit better camera than Moto Z Play, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the HTC One M9 also counts with a more mega-pixels camera.
